Our Story
Vertical Assets is an elevator consulting firm founded just outside of Chicago by Charlie Geist.
With a background and degree in aviation, Charlie has a knack for understanding the mechanics of moving parts. He got his start fresh out of college in the early aughts, steadily working his way through the ranks at an elevator company in the greater Chicago area.
In 2024, Charlie launched his own consulting firm: Vertical Assets, LLC.
As a Qualified Elevator Inspector who has been involved with his fair share of hands-on repairs, Charlie understands all aspects of the industry, as well as the concerns of those trying to navigate the ups and downs of elevator disrepair. His years of experience make him the ideal consulting partner for private and public building operators alike.
Vertical Assets works primarily in the greater Chicago area, but serves the entirety of the Country. We’ve solved elevator issues from coast to coast, with greater concentration in Indiana, Wisconsin, Iowa, Missouri, and the greater Midwest, including the Indianapolis, Milwaukee, and Madison areas.
